90 Candles, 2022

90 Candles was a project by The Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration (formerly The House of Illustration) to celebrate Quentin Blake’s 90th birthday. 90 illustrators were invited to draw a candle inspired by the original meaning of the word ‘illustration’ - to light up, make and illuminate.

My piece ‘How To Keep the Light Going’ was about finding hope, and then finding ways to hold onto it; A task that will never end, but is made undoubtedly better when other people are involved.
